Propofol sedation by non-anaesthesiologist

A hot topic symposia called "Propofolsedation during painful procedurs. Damn if you do and damn if you don´t!" will be held on the SSAI-meeting in Gothenburg on Wednesday 5th of september at 15.45 to 16.45. This will be an interactive symposia based on the dialog between the audience and the Presidents of the National Societys of Anaesthesia and Intensive Care i the Scandinavian countries.

The need for sedation in modern-day health care will be described, the view of gastroenterologist will be presented and the work beeing done in the Scandinavian countries and Europe will be described and discussed.
